This week, we climbed the "never seen gully" at Pelago with Chris. Pelago is one of the most famous place to practise winter mountaineering in the Mercantour. At 70 km from Nice and the "cote d'Azur", this summit present many possibility for couloir and gully for every level.

The "never seen gully" is rated D with tow pitches of ice at the beginning followed by a long snow couloir until the summit of Caïre Negre south of Pelago (2740m).
